Leadership Development

Leadership Development has never been more important

  • Are you facing the challenge of growing your company with a team you like but who has little to no leadership training?
  • Would you like to retain the staff you have with opportunities for personal development and increased engagement?
  • Are you struggling to stay focused, both for yourself and as a leader of your team?

Individual and company-sponsored leadership development based on our proprietary methodology

Together with Alex Pilkington I created a programme that combines years of leadership experience along with insights from many experts and professional training.

Who is an effective leader, and how do you become one?

An effective leader is willing to learn and grow, is able to understand and control their emotions, is accountable and courageous, able to think and plan for the future and is able to understand, communicate with and motivate people.

The Five Qualities of Effective Leadership

The ability to develop Strategic Leadership

Being able to look ahead and plan for the unknown enables them to navigate difficult situations and to set and accomplish their goals. Taking the time to think about what they want to achieve enables them to create a plan to get to that result.

A commitment to Embrace Change

Leaders need to be able to learn and grow, admit mistakes and learn from them and be open to change. This willingness will allow them to handle challenges with more agility and poise.

A high level of Emotional Intelligence

Being mindful leads to the ability to understand and control their emotions and to understand the emotions of others. They are more able to react calmly and rationally while taking into consideration the feelings of others.

A commitment to Servant Leadership

In addition to putting your team first, we have included integrity, accountability, courage and empowerment of others as essential.  This makes leaders more trustworthy and appreciated.

The ability to develop Intentional Connections

People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.  Connecting authentically with people increases influence, loyalty and performance.

Leadership Development Options

I offer customized leadership development programs using the training material and group discussions. Each meeting starts and ends by asking if there are particular concerns to ensure that issues are discussed in a timely and helpful manner. The process makes it easy for the participants to learn the material in a straightforward and interactive way.

I suggest limiting the workshop time to the 6-10 people that you would like to groom for leadership. This will allow time for each to participate and will allow us to focus on relevant issues.  It will also create an opportunity for team building within this group.

Grow Your Leadership

Expected outcomes from the Leadership Development Program are:

INCREASE PERFORMANCE — Leaders who lead well automatically notice an increase in performance for themselves, their teams, and those with whom they influence.

EXPAND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE — Participants will learn to manage emotions more positively for better relationships.

EARN THE RESPECT OF OTHERS — Servant leadership has the courage to do the right thing by putting the needs of others first.

DEVELOP STRATEGIC LEADING SKILLS — When challenges arise, having the skills to pivot through them is a trait that highly benefits leaders.

NAVIGATE UNFAMILIAR AND DIFFICULT SITUATIONS — Gain greater clarity, poise, understanding, and direction for any situation that may arise.

ENGAGE MORE EFFECTIVELY — Convey your message with increased clarity and be better able to resolve conflict.

REDUCE TURNOVER — Good employees are loyal to leaders they trust. Turnover is one of the biggest expenses for organizations, so limiting turnover has multiple benefits.

IMPROVE MORALE — Studies prove that high morale is a direct result of good leadership. Boost your own morale by doing the work to improve your leadership skills.
